About the studio
One studio to create and automate.
The Fifth Kind is an AI studio in Bengaluru, India, founded by Uday Khandelwal. We do two things. We make story-first AI video content that gets a brand noticed, and we build the AI chatbots, WhatsApp automation, voice agents and back-office AI agents that turn that attention into sales. Most agencies do one or the other. We do both, for SMEs, manufacturers, D2C brands, startups and personal brands across India.
Why we exist
Indian businesses are being told to "use AI" by everyone and helped by almost no one. On one side are tools that need a full-time person to operate. On the other are agencies that make a pretty video and leave the enquiries it generates to die in someone's WhatsApp.
We think the value is in joining those up. A great video gets attention. A chatbot or WhatsApp agent answers the people it brings in within seconds. A voice agent calls the leads back. AI agents send the quotation, the invoice and the payment reminder. That whole chain, built properly, is what grows a business.
How we work
- Story before software. Every video starts with a concept and script. Every automation starts with understanding how your business actually runs.
- Speed without slop. AI lets us deliver in days, not weeks. People direct, check and finish every piece.
- Honest scoping. If something shouldn't be automated, or AI isn't the right tool, we say so on the first call.
